The affected products include plug, socket outlet, RCD plug or adaptor, fixed socket-outlet, cord extension set, cable reel, timer switch, luminaire with socket-outlet and adaptor etc. (the product name on certificate may vary). According to the Annex D of DIN VDE 0620-1:2010, new quality control requirements should be implemented in the manufacturing process at factory site.
Certifications that were granted according to the 2005 version must complete an update with the 2010 version before the withdraw date to remain valid.
